We love to spread the word about good things happening in our community! But we do have some guidelines.To be considered for free space in Our Town, your announcement must:

  1. be submitted in written form, preferably e-mail, with no more than 75 words (we may edit for space or clarity)
  2. publicize an activity or need of a non-profit entity
  3. offer information we feel will be useful to our readers.
  4. NOT lead to financial benefit to anyone other than a specified charity

Meetings: Notices will be published only for groups that do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, or religion.

Church Announcements: These are limited to special events; we do not publish announcements about regular church services.

We reserve the right to refuse any community note at the publisher’s discretion.
